Massage sessions

Within residential and care homes, the predominance of touch is to toilet, bathe, feed and provide medication. Massage is beneficial as one-to-one time, alongside providing therapeutic benefits.

For the past eight years I have been working with a variety of clients - those with old age related health conditions including dementia, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

A session usually takes place monthly or fortnightly and typically lasts for three hours, with ten residents. They have an option of a shoulder, hand or foot massage.

"Our residents are always so chilled out and relaxed when you have been."

"Your massages are such a positive element to our residents lives."

"It is amazing to see my Mums face light up when she sees you. Although she has advanced dementia and can no longer communicate, that  glimmer of recognition shows us a little bit of her remains."

Located 5 minutes from Daresbury junction off the M56, I offer private appointments at £25 per session for a deep tissue back massage on Fridays, between 9-5pm.

A masseuse and aromatherapist for 19 years I use hand blended aromatherapy oils to facilitate the treatment.

Males are only seen on referral from an existing client.
