After living away firstly in student digs, then setting up house with her friends for a couple of years my daughter has moved back home. There has been a shift in our relationship, as I am no longer the 'bossy' parent - she's been in the big wide world, made mistakes, had household responsibilities and has a 'grown up' job. Additionally the spectrum of our pastimes has moved somewhat closer - she has introduced me to new interesting genres that wouldn't have crossed my path and she no longer thinks that things which appeal to me are as boring as she did when a teenager.

After evenings with a glass of wine in hand discussing exhibitions, films, books and music we thought we'd start jotting down our musings because sharing your experiences with others can add another layer to that experience and open your eyes to other perspectives.
