art as meditation

a duo, the first is inspired by the

rhythmic composition of

captured moments 005

 

- they are a translation of my meditative

moments in nature

i hope the simplicity of form

will become a source of meditation

for you which you can bring

your own story to

 

the second is created from

the washi tape utilised in making 

the negative space on the first

additional marks have been made

as part of a free flowing

meditative practice

 

what initially looks like chaos

is decontructed and reconstructed 

to create a piece that has

points of interest

to facilitate a state of mindfulness

materials: oil pastels, eco gesso, acrylic paint, washi tape

the entry deadline for draws 001-004 is

midnight wednesday 30 september

winners will be notified by noon friday 02 october
